Frequently Asked Questions — 2 Brothers Brew Coffee

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about our coffee, shipping, and how we do things at E&E 2 Brothers Brew.

About Our Coffee

Is your coffee freshly roasted?

Yes — every bag is roasted to order. We don't keep pre-roasted inventory sitting in a warehouse. When your order comes in, we roast it fresh and ship it within 2–4 business days. Most commercial coffee is roasted weeks or months before it reaches you. Ours goes from roaster to your door in days.

What is specialty grade coffee?

Specialty grade is the highest quality tier in the coffee industry, scored 80+ on a 100-point scale by licensed Q Graders. It means the beans are sourced from specific farms or regions, grown at altitude, harvested by hand, and carefully processed. Every coffee we sell starts as specialty grade — no filler beans, no defects.

What's the difference between single origin and a blend?

Single origin coffee comes from one specific farm, cooperative, or region — so the flavor reflects that place uniquely. Our single origin coffees include beans from Ethiopia, Colombia, Kenya, Peru, Bali, and more. Blends combine beans from multiple origins to create a balanced, consistent flavor profile. Our premium blends are crafted for specific taste goals — bold, smooth, bright, etc.

Are your flavored coffees made with artificial flavoring?

No. All of our flavored coffee beans use 100% natural flavoring — no artificial additives, no added sugar, no calories from flavoring. The flavor is applied after roasting to whole beans, so you get the full coffee experience plus the flavor.

Do you offer decaf?

Yes — our Peru Decaf Single Origin is a medium roast with caramel, smooth, and citrus notes. Same specialty grade quality, no caffeine.

What grind options do you offer?

We offer Whole Bean, Coarse (French Press, Cold Brew), Standard/Medium (drip machines), Fine (pour over), and Espresso grinds. Select your grind at checkout on each product page. If you're unsure, Whole Bean is always best for freshness — grind just before brewing.

Not sure where to start?

Our Coffee Sample Packs are the easiest way to try multiple coffees without committing to a full bag. We have a Best Sellers Pack, a Flavored Coffees Pack, and a Single Origin Favorites Pack — all $24.99.

Other Questions

How should I store my coffee?

Keep your coffee in an airtight container, away from heat, light, and moisture. Don't store it in the fridge or freezer — the temperature changes cause condensation that damages the beans. A cool, dark cabinet is ideal. For best flavor, buy only what you'll use within 2–3 weeks.

Do you offer gift options?

Absolutely. Our Sample Packs are especially popular as gifts. We also carry branded mugs perfect for pairing with a bag of coffee.

How do I contact you?

Use our contact page and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible. We're a small team and we actually read every message.
